A New Beginning
This blog entry marks a new beginning, with a new website. Essentially, a new me because photography is a huge part of my life aside from my family.
I became a professional photographer when my twins were about five months old. This decision was a well thought out career path that I knew I would always love. It was also a career that would allow me to work around my children's schedule. And easily spend time with my husband.
Every few years, my business goes through huge transitions. I try to keep up with the changing times. I keep my eye on technology to ensure I can meet the demands of my clients. I am always learning new techniques because it does not matter how wonderful my work is, there is always something new to learn to advance my techniques. And the biggest thing that I truly struggle with is marketing. I can not tell you how many hours I have spent watching videos on marketing and long discussions with friends who's specialty is marketing to figure out how I want to handle my company publicly. I must admit it was exhausting and sometimes a bit discouraging. Thankfully, I have family and friends that stand by my side cheering me on. Honestly, I would be really lost without them.
So, here I am, in a new transition. I finally got my website together. I got everything in order to stay organized. And now I am ready to rock!
